Nestled in 22 acres of lush green pollution free environment, Jyotirmoy School of Business , JSB is a part of Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park , JKP, located in the southern suburbs of Kolkata and has been visualised to become a centre of excellence.

The institutes at JKP aim to attract students and teachers from all across the globe. Jyotirmoy School of Business (JSB),one of the top B Schools in Kolkata in the eastern region is an initiative of Jyotirmoy Education & Welfare Foundation. The Foundation was established in the year 2003 and since then has consistently worked towards providing educational opportunities right from the kindergarten stage to doctoral levels. The foundation administers several colleges and schools in Sonarpur, West Bengal. JKP houses various institutes namely:

The Jyotirmoy Public school was established in the year 2004 and currently has 1200+ students on its rolls. The year 2008 was a momentous year with the setting up of Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park, as a one-of-a-kind educational park which houses colleges from Under Graduate (UG) to Post Graduate (PG) levels. JKP aims to be among the best education hubs in West Bengal and will strive to compete with the best in India in terms of infrastructure and academics. The law school as well as the Undergraduate Management College are also part of this campus. The Campus added institutes like Jyotirmoy Private Industrial Training Institute, Saraswati School of Education and Saraswati Online.Com Academy to work on its mission of development through education.Jyotirmoy School of Business (JSB), the management school of the foundation has been conceptualised as a premier B-School which shall provide its students with exposure to the best management practices of both the East & West.

The law school as well as the Undergraduate Management College are also part of this campus. The Foundation also strives to fulfill its social obligations through a system of scholarships for poor but meritorious students of the region and a policy of active involvement in the development of the neighbour ring region and community. Its sister foundation Saraswati International Education and Welfare Foundation (SIEWF) through its contacts in the Asian subcontinent, particularly China, Philippines, and Singapore, works towards true globalization of education through its Student and Faculty Exchange Programs, as well as through creation, promotion, and maintenance of inter-country Academic Programs. SIEWF connects 1200 students, 50 faculty and 13 universities together.
